Production Manager
Employment Status: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible
Location: On-Site at NEW Gymreapers’ HQ in Nampa, ID (20 mins outside of Boise, ID)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (flex according to business needs)

Job Description:
Gymreapers is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the end-to-end development and production process of our performance apparel and accessories. To succeed, you should bring a strong understanding of product lifecycle management, excellent organization, and a passion for creating high-quality, functional products.
You will play a key role in tracking samples, managing timelines, and coordinating communication between internal teams and external vendors. Your responsibilities will include maintaining production trackers, organizing production files, working hand in hand with quality checks, and helping to ensure products meet brand standards in terms of fit, quality, and function.
This position requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with the Product Development and Operations teams to help ensure the product meets the approved standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enforce Gymreapers’ quality standards across all product categories, including apparel, accessories, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain inspection protocols for bulk production at pre-production, in-line, and final QC stages.
- Partner with vendors and manufacturers to ensure all materials, construction methods, and finishing meet brand standards.
- Act as the gatekeeper for product approval. Manage QC checklists for samples (SMS, PP, TOP) and bulk production. Nothing ships without your QC sign-off.
- Serve as the main point of contact with factories for all quality-related matters.
- Audit manufacturing partners and assess their quality control systems and compliance procedures.
- Communicate feedback on production quality clearly and with urgency to all partners and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented quickly and effectively.
- Track, review, and document all sample comments and revisions in collaboration with Product Development.
- Monitor size set approvals, fit corrections, and labeling/tagging accuracy to reduce margin of error in bulk.
- Maintain a record of production issues, return reasons, and recurring defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and follow up with vendors to prevent future issues.
- Report weekly on QC pass/fail rates, defects, and resolutions to senior leadership.
- Ensure all products meet relevant safety and durability standards (such as REACH, CPSIA where applicable).
- Coordinate lab testing, certifications, and compliance documentation as required for retail and international distribution.
Qualification:
- 1 year of Product Development and Production experience preferred
- PLM and ERP experience is a plus
- Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals
- Ability to adapt to a small company work culture, be highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of apparel design, textiles, sizing, grading, and construction techniques.
- Knowledge of overseas manufacturing, production, and communication
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other project management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication both internally and externally
- Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude with internal and external teams with an openness to new ideas and differing opinions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and deliver projects under tight deadlines
- Experience in activewear is preferred
