Job Description:
Gymreapers is a high-growth ecommerce brand scaling aggressively, selling premium fitness and lifting gear across Shopify DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and major retail partners. We have internalized fulfillment and are investing in the operational infrastructure needed to scale efficiently.
We are seeking a Process Improvement Manager to own continuous improvement across our operations organization. This role is responsible for identifying inefficiencies, building SOPs, driving cross-functional improvement projects, and establishing the reporting infrastructure that keeps our operations team focused on the right metrics. You will sit within the operations org and work across warehouse, logistics, and retail ops to reduce waste, increase throughput, and improve the systems our team runs on every day.
The right candidate is a hands-on operator who is equally comfortable on the warehouse floor and in a spreadsheet. You don’t just identify problems — you own the solution from diagnosis through implementation.
About Gymreapers
At Gymreapers, we make gear with a purpose and focus on material integrity. You get high-quality lifting gear that’s made to outlast cheap look-a-likes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Continuous Improvement Leadership
Own the continuous improvement program across the operations org and drive measurable, sustained gains.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across warehouse, logistics, and retail ops functions
- Lead kaizen events, process mapping sessions, and root cause analysis across operational functions
- Implement Lean and waste-reduction principles to improve throughput, accuracy, and cost efficiency
- Track and report improvement project outcomes against baseline metrics and targeted savings
- Build a culture of continuous improvement — train managers and associates to identify and escalate process issues proactively
2. SOP Development and Process Documentation
Build and maintain the operating playbooks that allow the team to perform consistently and train new hires effectively.
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for all core operational processes: receiving, pick/pack, shipping, returns, and retail compliance
- Ensure SOPs are current, accessible, and actively used — not filed and forgotten
- Partner with operations managers to identify gaps between documented process and actual practice
- Build onboarding and training materials that enable fast, consistent ramp for new associates and managers
3. Process Improvement Measurement and Reporting
Build the measurement infrastructure that answers one question for every improvement initiative: is what we changed actually working?
- For every improvement initiative, establish pre/post measurement protocols: define the specific metrics that should move if the change works, capture baseline performance before go-live, and report results against that baseline on a defined cadence
- Build and maintain operational reporting dashboards that surface whether process changes are holding, regressing, or delivering compounding gains over time
- Distinguish between metric improvement driven by process change vs. volume, seasonality, or one-time factors — ensure the reporting tells an honest story
- Partner with Ops Systems and IT to ensure data pipelines and reporting tools are accurate, automated where possible, and not dependent on manual pulls
- Develop weekly and monthly improvement performance updates for the Director of Operations, with explicit commentary on initiative status and measured outcomes
- Identify metric gaps where the org is operating without visibility and flag them to the Director of Operations for prioritization
4. ERP and WMS Utilization
Drive improvement in how the operations team uses its systems — reducing manual workarounds and increasing data integrity.
- Audit current ERP and WMS utilization across operations and identify gaps, workarounds, and underused functionality
- Partner with WMS Admin, Ops Systems, and IT to implement system-side improvements that support process changes
- Develop training programs to improve associate and manager proficiency on WMS and ERP platforms
- Ensure system configurations reflect current operational processes and are updated when processes change
5. Cross-Functional Project Management
Lead and coordinate improvement projects that span multiple operational functions or require cross-functional alignment.
- Manage improvement projects end-to-end: scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment, implementation, and results tracking
- Facilitate cross-functional working sessions across warehouse, logistics, retail ops, supply chain, and IT
- Maintain a visible project backlog and roadmap, prioritized by impact and resource availability
- Communicate project status, risks, and results to the Director of Operations on a regular cadence
Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of process improvement initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of Lean principles; Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) preferred
- Experience building pre/post measurement frameworks for operational improvement initiatives — establishing baselines, tracking efficacy, and reporting results honestly
- Experience building SOPs, process maps, and operational training materials in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment
- Proficiency in operational reporting and data visualization — experience with BI tools, Excel, or comparable platforms
- ERP and WMS experience required; familiarity with warehouse management systems (Manhattan, NetSuite WMS, SkuVault, or comparable) preferred
- Strong project management skills — can manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep stakeholders aligned
- Consumer products, ecommerce, or distribution background preferred
Benefits/Perks:
- Competitive Pay
- Company paid holidays
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Gymreapers on-site gym!
- Newly renovated HQ!
- 401(k) with up to a 4% employer match
- Life Flight Program, Voluntary
- Employee Assistance Program
- 50% Employee Discount
- 100% Employer Paid: Medical, Dental and Vision
- 100% Employer Paid: Short-term and Long-term disability — life insurance for both employee and spouse/dependents
