Senior Manager/Supervisor

Reports to: VP, Enterprise Planning & Technology

About the Role

Gymreapers is entering its next phase of growth, and we are building the technology capability required to support it.

The Senior Manager, Information Technology will be responsible for establishing and leading Gymreapers' enterprise IT capability across cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, integrations, architecture, IT operations, technology governance and third-party technology partners.

This is a broad, hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate comfortably at both the strategic and technical level. The successful candidate will help define where Gymreapers needs to go, while also being willing and able to get into the details required to solve problems and build the foundations of a scalable technology organization.

This person will inherit an environment that has grown quickly and successfully through a combination of SaaS platforms, internal expertise and external partners. The opportunity is to bring those capabilities together into a deliberate, secure and scalable technology operating model without introducing unnecessary complexity or bureaucracy.

What You'll Own

Technology Strategy & Architecture
Develop and execute Gymreapers' enterprise technology roadmap in partnership with business leadership. Establish a clear understanding of the current application and integration landscape and define a scalable target architecture. Lead technical strategy for major enterprise-platform decisions, including the future evolution of ERP, WMS, financial, commerce, planning and integration capabilities.

Cybersecurity & Risk
Establish the foundational cybersecurity program for Gymreapers, including identity and access management, MFA, privileged access, endpoint security, security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response and security awareness. Partner with Legal, HR and business leaders on privacy, data protection, business continuity and technology risk. Ensure security controls remain appropriate for a fast-growing business without unnecessarily slowing it down.

Enterprise Applications
Provide technical ownership and governance across Gymreapers' enterprise application portfolio, including ERP, WMS, finance, commerce and other critical SaaS platforms. Establish clear business and technical ownership, access controls, lifecycle management and application roadmaps. Partner with functional leaders to ensure technology enables well-defined business processes rather than simply automating existing practices.

Integrations & Automation
Own the architecture, reliability and governance of integrations across the enterprise. Establish monitoring and operational ownership for critical data and transaction flows. Reduce unnecessary point-to-point complexity over time and define the appropriate integration strategy as Gymreapers' enterprise platform architecture evolves.

IT Operations & Infrastructure
Own the overall employee technology experience, including endpoints, Google Workspace, networks, collaboration platforms, access and workplace technology. Lead and hold accountable Gymreapers' managed-service and technology partners. Establish scalable onboarding, offboarding, device-management, support and escalation processes.

Technology Governance & Financial Management
Partner with Finance to establish visibility and governance over technology spend. Develop standards for SaaS procurement, licensing, renewals and vendor management. Ensure critical systems have defined owners, support expectations, recovery requirements and appropriate change controls. Build useful governance that protects the business without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

Business Continuity & Reliability
Establish business-critical system classifications, recovery objectives, backup validation, disaster recovery and business-continuity capabilities. Develop appropriate operational readiness for peak trading periods and major business events. Ensure failures are detected quickly and resolved through clear ownership and escalation rather than organizational firefighting.

What Success Looks Like

During the first 12 months, this person will have materially changed how Gymreapers manages technology.

Critical security gaps will have been addressed and foundational controls established. Employees will have a consistent onboarding and offboarding experience, with appropriate access to company systems and data. Critical applications and integrations will have clear owners, documentation, monitoring and support models.

Gymreapers will have visibility into its technology estate, vendors and spend. Technology issues will increasingly be resolved through defined support and escalation processes rather than pulling employees and executives away from their primary responsibilities.

Most importantly, the Senior Manager will help establish the architecture and technology strategy required for Gymreapers' next stage of growth, including playing a central role in the evaluation and implementation of the company's future enterprise platform ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience leading broad enterprise IT capabilities in a growing organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, identity and access management, endpoint management, networking and cloud/SaaS security.
  • Experience owning or supporting enterprise business applications such as ERP, WMS, financial, commerce and supply-chain platforms.
  • Experience designing, managing or governing enterprise integrations and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technology architecture and translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
  • Experience managing MSPs, implementation partners, software vendors and other third parties.
  • Experience establishing IT governance, policies and operational processes in an organization where they may not already exist.
  • Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, incident management and operational resilience.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk, capability, speed and cost.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology issues clearly to non-technical executives and business leaders.
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment where the leader may need to move from strategic planning to technical troubleshooting in the same day.
  • Strong bias toward action and an ability to create structure without creating bureaucracy.

Experience supporting high-growth consumer, e-commerce, retail, apparel or omnichannel businesses would be particularly valuable.
