About Gymreapers

Gymreapers is one of the fastest-growing strength training brands in the world. We create premium gear, apparel and accessories for lifters who demand more from themselves and the brands they support. Our mission is to put the highest quality products into the hands of serious athletes while building a brand that represents discipline, grit, and relentless self-improvement.

As we continue scaling across DTC, Amazon, Retail, Wholesale, and International channels, we're looking for an HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture team and help build the operational foundation that keeps our people function running at the pace our growth demands.

Position Overview

We're building out our People & Culture function and looking for an HR Coordinator to join as the second member of the team. This role sits at the center of everything people-related at Gymreapers, from keeping our recruiting engine running smoothly to making sure every new hire has a great first experience. You'll work directly with the Director of People & Culture and touch every part of the employee lifecycle.

This is a role for someone who is organized, moves fast, communicates clearly, and takes pride in getting the details right. If you like variety, want to learn how a people function is built from the ground up, and want to be more than a cog in a big HR machine, this is the right seat.

What You'll Own

  • Recruiting operations — managing job postings across all active requisitions, coordinating interviews end-to-end, keeping candidates informed and moving, and maintaining clean records in our ATS (JazzHR). You are the reason the recruiting process feels organized and professional to every candidate who comes through.
  • Onboarding — owning the logistics of bringing every new hire in the right way. Background check coordination, offer letter generation, new hire paperwork, day one preparation. You make sure nothing falls through the cracks between offer and start date.
  • HR administration — keeping employee records accurate and up to date, supporting benefits and payroll-related questions by directing people to the right resources, and helping maintain the systems and tools that keep the function running.
  • Sourcing support — building candidate pipelines on assigned requisitions using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools. You'll learn our sourcing approach and take on increasing ownership here over time.
  • Project support — as we build out performance management, engagement surveys, job architecture, and manager training programs, you'll support the operational side of getting those initiatives off the ground.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or recruiting coordination, or a similar administrative role
  • Exceptional organizational skills — you manage multiple moving pieces without dropping anything and build systems to keep it that way as volume grows
  • Clear, professional communicator — candidates, hiring managers, new hires, and vendors all interact with you, and you represent the Gymreapers brand in every touchpoint
  • Comfortable in ambiguity — we're building the function as we go, and that excites you rather than stresses you out
  • High ownership mentality — you don't wait to be told something is broken
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace

Preferred

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (JazzHR or similar)
  • LinkedIn Recruiter or sourcing experience
  • Exposure to full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition operations
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment — startup, DTC, or consumer brand background a plus
