Purchasing Specialist
Employment Status: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible
Location: On-Site at NEW Gymreapers’ HQ in Nampa, ID (20 mins outside of Boise, ID)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (flex according to business needs)
Reports To: Sr. Manager, Supply & Logistics
Position Overview:
Gymreapers is seeking a detail-driven Purchasing Specialist to support the daily execution of our supply chain and procurement activities. This role centers on accurate data entry, PO lifecycle management, supplier follow-up, and ERP system administration, all of which are critical to ensuring smooth product flow and cross-functional alignment.
As a key member of the Supply & Logistics team, you’ll serve as the backbone of our purchasing operations including managing purchase orders, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and materials. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on structure, precision, and solving operational inefficiencies through process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
PO & ERP Management
- Create, issue, and update purchase orders in our ERP system (e.g., Brightpearl) with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain open purchase orders, ensuring data reflects current supplier statuses and shipment timelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acknowledgments, ship dates, and resolve discrepancies.
- Track PO changes and maintain comprehensive documentation for all revisions and approvals.
- Collaborate with Sourcing and Product teams to ensure POs reflect the latest cost, quantity, and delivery specifications.
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Enter and manage product and vendor data within the ERP and supply systems.
- Ensure consistent and correct product information, SKU attributes, and supplier records across platforms.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on order status, delivery timelines, and purchasing KPIs.
- Maintain dashboards and trackers for order visibility and internal stakeholder communication.
Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
- Communicate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Product Development, Customer Service) regarding order timing, product availability, and changes in delivery expectations.
- Maintain organized records of POs, vendor documents, and historical purchasing data for audits and planning.
- Assist with vendor onboarding, product setup forms, and compliance documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline purchasing and order management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain support, purchasing administration, or procurement coordination.
- Strong proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP systems like NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Self-starter mentality with an aptitude for process improvement and efficiency
