Location: On-Site at NEW Gymreapers’ HQ in Nampa, ID (20 mins outside of Boise, ID)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (flex according to business needs)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Data & Analytics to build and lead our data function. We have laid a foundation and are now looking to accelerate the growth and development across the board.
This role is responsible for transforming data into a competitive advantage across revenue, operations, and decision-making. You will own our data infrastructure, reporting systems, and analytical insights—while partnering closely with leadership across ecommerce, marketing, and operations.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on role with direct impact on company performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Decision Intelligence System (The Operating Brain)
Own the architecture of how decisions are made at Gymreapers.
- Build a centralized decision system beyond static dashboards
- Define and standardize:
- North star metrics
- Channel-level KPIs
- Contribution margin frameworks
- Transform WBR into a diagnostic and action-oriented system:
- What happened
- Why it happened
- What actions should be taken
- Implement real-time alerting systems:
- Revenue fluctuations
- CAC spikes
- Inventory risks
2. Revenue Intelligence
Drive growth through analytics, experimentation, and attribution clarity.
- Own full-funnel analytics:
- Traffic → Conversion → AOV → LTV
- Build and scale testing infrastructure:
- PDP optimization (Amazon + Shopify)
- Offer testing frameworks
- Pricing elasticity analysis
- Develop attribution models across:
- Paid media (Meta, TikTok)
- Amazon halo and blended ROAS
- Identify:
- High-performing SKUs
- Channel profitability
- Customer cohort performance
3. Operational Intelligence
Drive efficiency and margin through data-driven operations.
- Build inventory forecasting models:
- Demand planning by SKU and channel
- Seasonality and promotional impact
- Optimize:
- In-stock rates
- Inventory turns
- Cash allocation tied to inventory
- Create SKU-level contribution margin models:
- Landed cost
- Fulfillment cost
- Marketing allocation
- Analyze and improve:
- 3PL and warehouse performance
- Shipping and logistics costs
- Packaging and cost structure decisions
4. Data Infrastructure & Architecture
Build a scalable and reliable data foundation.
- Own and Grow:
- Data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
- ETL pipelines (Fivetran, Airbyte, or custom)
- Data modeling layer (dbt or equivalent)
- Integrate:
- New Systems and Optimizations
- Ensure:
- Data accuracy and validation layers
- Timely and reliable reporting
- Replace fragmented spreadsheet-based reporting with automated systems
5. AI & Automation
Embed AI into core business workflows.
A. Predictive Systems
- Demand forecasting across SKUs and channels
- Customer lifetime value modeling
- Retention and churn prediction
B. Decision Automation
- Automated inventory reorder recommendations
- Budget allocation models across marketing channels
- Dynamic pricing and promotion triggers
C. AI-Enhanced Workflows
- Marketing:
- Creative performance analysis
- Iteration insights
- Customer:
- Segmentation and personalization
- Operations:
- Anomaly detection across inventory and logistics
D. Internal AI Tools
- Develop or integrate tools enabling:
- Natural language data querying
- Instant insight generation for teams
- Example use cases:
- Root cause analysis of performance changes
- Automated reporting summaries
6. Data Productization
Turn data into internal tools used across the organization.
- Build systems and dashboards used by:
- Ecommerce
- Operations
- Marketing
- Leadership
- Enable self-serve analytics across teams
- Standardize reporting and metric definitions across departments
7. Team Building & Leadership
Build and lead the data and AI function.
- Hire and manage:
- Data Engineers
- Analytics Engineers
- BI Analysts
- Define org structure and hiring roadmap
- Establish:
- Data governance standards
- Documentation practices
- Scalable workflows
Qualifications:
- 7–12+ years in data, analytics, or business intelligence roles
- Experience in ecommerce or consumer brands ($20M–$200M range preferred)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with modern data stacks
- Proven ability to turn data into business impact—not just reporting
- Experience working cross-functionally on initiatives
- Experience building or scaling a data function
