Overview

Gymreapers is scaling rapidly—and we’re hiring a Production Manager to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing footprint and turn approved samples into delivered product.

This role is the counterpart to our Sourcing & Product Developer and sits at the intersection of production planning, factory execution, and quality control, with a strong emphasis on managing domestic Mexico production and international manufacturing output.

You will play a critical role in owning the production calendar, holding factories accountable, and ensuring every order ships on time, on budget, and on standard.

This is not just an operations role—this is a build-the-system + drive-the-output role.

What You’ll Do

Production Planning & Execution

Own the production calendar from PO placement through final delivery

Translate development handoffs into clear production plans across factories, mills, and trim suppliers

Manage capacity allocation across Mexico-based and overseas manufacturing partners

Issue and track POs, monitor WIP, and ensure on-time delivery to warehouse milestones

Identify and remove production bottlenecks before they impact ship dates

Factory & Vendor Management

Serve as primary point of contact for production partners across:

      Cut & sew apparel factories

      Gear and accessories manufacturers

      Hardware, trims, and component suppliers

      Domestic and international packaging vendors

Conduct regular factory visits across Mexico to audit production, inspect product, and resolve issues in real time

Build deep operational relationships that unlock priority, speed, and flexibility

Quality Control & Production Readiness

Own pre-production approvals, top-of-production inspections, and final QC sign-off

Establish and enforce inline and final quality standards in partnership with Product Development

Resolve production defects, rework, and quality escalations directly with vendors

Track quality KPIs by factory and drive corrective action plans where needed

Document and communicate technical changes, tolerances, and improvements

Logistics & Importation

Working knowledge of international shipping, import/export processes, and freight forwarding

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support shipment flow from origin to final destination

Familiarity with Incoterms (FOB, EXW, DDP, etc.), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation

Communicate production readiness and shipment status to relevant teams to ensure alignment

Costing, Margin & Reporting

Work in partnership with sourcing to support production costing and alignment on pricing, MOQs, and payment terms

Maintain accurate cost sheets, BOMs, and order trackers

Report production status, risk, and KPIs weekly to GM and cross-functional leadership

Drive continuous improvement on lead time, defect rate, and cost variance

      Merchandising & Planning

      Warehouse & Fulfillment

Ensure seamless handoff from development → production → go-to-market

Align production decisions with margin targets, launch timelines, and inventory plans
